Get your garden on!

A few posts back, I showed you my strawberry pot; well, look what I got to munch last week? Can you believe how quickly this grew and ripened?

This week I am potting 10 heirloom tomato plants (I am only planting non-hybrids this year because I want to harvest my own seeds for next year), cucumber seeds and pepper plants. I also want to find some annual herbs to put in my empty strawberry pot. So, tell me, how does your garden grow?

  1. I so want a garden, but I want someone else to do it!! haha

  2. What a very pretty little berry!

  3. Wow! Look at'll have a strawberry patch before we know it! ;) It's almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

  4. I love your strawberry pot/plant! I will absolutely do strawberries next year.
My garden is going slowly. I have lots of seedlings started in my kitchen but have not transfered them to the ground yet. We have had so many freakish late season frosts-we are also at a high elevation which makes for a later start.

  5. Oh Yummy! Nothing tastes better then a strawberry you grew yourself. I think it is very smart of you to grow non-hybred seeds to harvest your own. I was just reading about this over the weekend. I didn't know that hybred seeds could not be harvested. Wow!

BTW - thanks for leaving a comment on my blog :-)!!

Thank you for stopping by...leave a little of your sparkle before you go!
