When Crickets Cry........

I spent yesterday (or most of it, that is) sittting in this chair, lost in the most amazing book I have read in a very, very, very long time. It was When Crickets Cry by Charles Martin (http://www.charlesmartinbooks.com). I literally couldn't put it down, and I have the unfolded laundry to prove it. When my children came home from school they wondered what was up with me....I guess all the emotions (joy, pain, fear, hope, love, forgiveness) that I experienced through this book were evident. Lucky for me I have a dd who understands as she loves to get lost in the pages of a book as well.

So, GO...get yourself a copy and take a holiday between the pages!

  1. I need to find that one...it sounds wonderful. I also love that photo of your porch. I could sit there all day and read!
