Before and After..........

The children's bathroom is complete! DH worked very hard the last couple of weekends to get it just right for me. I wish I had taken photos before when the wallpaper was up...think mid 90's green, navy and mauve stripe. It wasn't bad, just very early/mid 90s. The light bar was that lovely exposed big, round bulb fixture that builders love due to its very economical cost.
The guys working hard!

After!

Everyone is very happy with the improved bath!

  1. Just beautiful. Looks like it could be in a magazine. I loved the framed mirror.

    Great job. Enjoy.

  4. Oh, Belle-ah, it's gorgeous! I love all the changes. I have a shower curtain almost identical..did I see that's a Ballards shower curtain? I have one too that's almost identical..in black/white. Love that monogram, don't you? Here's another suggestion for you (and don't kill me, I know you've worked hard). Would you consider painting the vanity black or dark brown? I really think that would jazz it up a lot too. I painted one of my guestbath vanities like that it & it added so much to the space. Just a thought! You can take a look at my home pics if you'd like to see how it might look. Mine was white before. Anyway...it looks fabulous!

  5. Oh, another question for you...where in GA do you live? I saw the reference to the Christian school in N. Ga. I grew up in Marietta.

  7. Hi--I love the new look to the bathroom! Thanks for visiting my quilting blog! I had fun making the valance for my living room. Presently working on the valance for my breakfast room but cannot wait to get them all done so I can back to quilting! Anyway, just wanted to say hello! I am in Columbus, GA by the way. Aren't you in GA also? Julie (swartzrn)

  8. I also think we have the same type of cabinets in our bathrooms. We just bought a house and they look very similar! Beautiful work, again! Julie

  12. Please, do tell what is that green - I love it! I am hunting for the right green. The only thing I am sure about now is that I do not have the right green.
